I was sitting in a bus terminal. I sit there sometimes even though I'm not waiting for a bus, because it's a warm place with benches but also because there are usually at least a few women. I was sitting there on a bench when two girls about 6/10 and very young, maybe 16-17 (I'm 34), came up to my floor in a staircase from the floor below. Don't remember if I was sitting alone in that area or if there were one or two others there at that time. But even if there were one or two others it shouldn't be an excuse not to talk to them. These girls were in a very happy state and were behaving kind of childishly, chasing each other around, playing hide and seek or something, I think they were kind of yelling a little too. But they were both looking at me and smiling several times, I think I could easily have said something to them and it could possibly have led to something, but I didn't. I was tired but that's not an excuse either. It was a bus terminal so they were likely waiting for a bus, but that bus could have departed a long time later, and maybe they weren't going home, they might have been from this city and were just leaving on a short trip. I fucking hate myself for not talking to them.

Any ideas what I should have done?
