TLDR what does it mean if a guy doesn’t want to hook up with you, when he said he wanted to multiple times

Hello! So I’ve had a friend I have been talking to and I am so smitten by him. I want him so bad. I have said this to him and he has said things like “I will fuck you senseless” and has told me to visit him and just other blatant things that was saying he wants me also. We do not live in the same state, but he is currently a lot closer in a neighboring state for work and I asked him if he wanted to meet up. At first he was like 100% yes, and then I was trying to set something up and he got really wishy washy about it. I booked the trip anyway because I wanted to go and told myself it would be a bonus if he came. Well he didn’t. I got there Friday night and was messaging him trying to convince to still come down, and he was like I’ve already started drinking. And the next day I messaged him just a cute selfie and he left me on read. So I’ve just tried to leave him alone and not annoy him. I’ll occasionally send him a snap if it’s something funny, but otherwise I try to wait for him to message first because I am trying to not be crazy!!! So this past Wednesday he hit me up and was like I feel like an adventure this weekend, and I was like I’m down if that was an invite! I was trying to plan it and make sure he wasn’t going to bail again. He ended up saying I’m gonna invite two other friends we know! And I was like ok sure. We get there Friday and we go bar hopping and are drinking and have a good time. I tell the 4th friend that came along that I have a huge crush on him and she was like yeah we kinda figured and were gonna be fine with giving you guys time in the Airbnb, and I was like did he say something? She told me go stand over there for a minute and I’ll talk to him, and a minute later she comes up and is like yeah he said he just wants to be your friend. And I’m crushed. I wasn’t asking him to be my boyfriend anyways. We go dance for a minute, and then leave the club (me and the two friends). He left the group and we were trying to get him to leave with us too but apparently he’s the type that runs away when he’s drunk. We go eat and I tell them I’m so embarrassed! What an idiot I am! I didn’t understand what happened. He had told me before that he thinks I’m hot and wants to have sex with me too. I have heard about how in college he got with so many girls and he jokes that he wants to get into porn. I’m not saying I’m a 10/10 but I’m cute and have never had issues trying to hook up with someone before. If he has been with so many girls and wants to do porn, he likes sex a lot and I am offering it! Why is he being weird?? If you have read this far thank you!
