Help with maintaining conversation

You need to find something in common with her and showing a passion for it. Sometimes when I force it i dont really like it but it's a way to keep the conversation flowing. Read into NLP. One technique is to bring things to a slightly more abstract level and elevating your emotional level. Then when you bring it back down to a more rational level you insert your suggestion for a further date OR you change the subject to one of your choosing. Here's a raw sample:

Her: I i can't believe he said that about my theighs!

You: i know. People can be so shallow. I cant stand it when people have no consideration for others feelings! It seriously makes me want to bash his face in! (This is very raw, i'm just showing the escalation)

Her: (her agreeing with you or quiet watching you wondering wtf you're all about)

You: thats the problem with this city sometimes. Its cool though. I found some kids breakdancing on the lawn at the college. It was kinda funny how one kid...(take out phone) hey i actually have to go to work now but here, put your number in my phone cause you seem fun/intrigue me/we need to get some coffee tomorrow.

She'll follow you. You'll lead cause you're interesting and have a command on yours life and she wants a part of it.
