I've always liked the cocky-funny approach. Some girls really hate it though, so tread carefully. If she seems reserved in conversation, you should try something else.
Tell her how shitty vanilla ice cream is. Boast about how cookies and cream is the superior flavour.

Actually don't think you did anything wrong, you made a witty joke she responded and was quite fast to the point of wanting to meet her.
Maybe she didn't feel like meeting you because her father died 20 seconds after that message or because she saw your weird mole on your forehead just then.
Just move on, maybe she responds tomorrow or she doesn't. The best thing you can do is not care.
