I am not sure what the strategy is on hinge. I know girls get so many likes and messages so my assumption has always been to message them and try to get their number or IG Asap. But in general I have been striking out. I have a good profile, I get attractive matches but im awful at the messages.i think now I message too fast or try to setup a date too quickly.

Should I wait longer? I assume if they see me and have 10+ guys liking and messaging them then they wouldn't remember me but now I'm wondering maybe I hold off for a week so my name pops up in surprise that I took so long.

For example,this girl matched with me and I said be nice, she said it depends how cute you are" and I said "guess you gotta stick around and find out". And she just liked it. I'm convinced anything I would've said she wouldn't have responded and that goes with most of my messages. Should I wait for a week and say something cheeky ?
