Today, I failed simple shit test. I apologize.

I was talking to a Indian girl at meetup. She just graduated while I am 29 yrs old. We talked where we live and simple chit chat. Out of nowhere she suddenly told me she is married. I knew she isn't married for sure since ring was missing. She asks me if I am single. Instead of saying something funny, I made weird face and said yeaaah?????

She then asked another guy to join us and then flat out ignored me. I left after saying goodbye.

Later , I thought I could have said , "we just met. I don't hit on married women."

I live by myself in suburb so only interaction I have is my co-workers. My co-workers don't talk much though. Meetup is one good thing I try but then it's all strangers so I don't get to practice much.

Well, so my question is, how to talk smart , be funny , cocky ? Who to practice with instead of keeping everything in my head ?
