I (28m) work as an operator in the chemical field and wanted to ask for some advice.

We are building a brand new plant and as a result have many meetings with R&D and engineering people to discuss work stuff.

Yesterday I was having some small talk with some colleagues in the lounge as my shift supervisor came over with 3 female engineers and wanted us to introduce ourselves to them.

One of the girls was really pretty and looked at me for a few moments. We made eye contact and shared some glances at each other.

I honestly think she's interested in knowing me as I am towards her.

The thing is that it's very rare for me to see females in my work field since I work in shift production and it's a 95% man world. So I am happy that I saw something with the chances being slim to none.

Next part

After my shift ended I looked her up on social media (facebook, Instagram) and didn't find her profile.

But I did find her LinkedIn profile and visited her page to notice that she joined in January this year. Which coincidentally is the same starting month for me.

A few hours later she followed me! After that I have sent her a connection request which she also accepted.

What are my next steps?

Should I send her a message to find out what her intentions are? Since I don't know if she's romantically interested in me. Or that she's accepted my request out of niceness?
