You could text her here and there while she is gone and even call her. The other option is to leave her alone for three weeks and just schedule a date for when she comes back. There is no right or wrong. Just pick something and try.

You don't need to keep up the spark. Just text her when she gets back. The definition of being needy is feeling like you need to keep a connection going even though she's gone.

Had a solid connection with a girl last night at the bar. I know it was solid because we were both sober.

You don't know because she was sober. A lot of people are sober. It was probably because you had a good conversation and overall good interaction with her, right?

Problem is, she left town last night for three weeks. How do I keep this going without being needy? I feel like that's too long to just go silent.

You admit that she's a person with her own mind, who has her own desires and thinks for herself, right? Then why is it up to you alone?

If you're interested, just message her every so often. Do you know where she is going for those three weeks? If so, then ask how it's going there. If not, then ask where she is and what she's up to.

Overall point: it shouldn't hurt anything to ping her with occasional messages asking how she's doing or what she's up to. Just put some thought into it. None of this "Heeeeyyyy" stuff or questions that only require one-word answers. And have something else to do with your life besides try to keep up with this girl. You shouldn't be sitting on your phone, obsessing over why she hasn't replied yet, or whatever. Put your phone on Airplane Mode if you have to. But find something else to do with your time than look at a phone.

Talk about spending that matters. Don't talk about the fucking weather.

Peer into her gorgeous eyes. Challenge her. Challenge yourself to figure out what matters to her, and what matters to you, to make a relationship connection. Touch her.

Find where her heart is at. Then implicitly ask her if it's where you want to be. Girls WANT to be challenged like this!

Source: Got back from a college convention full of people a week ago, met the by far most beautiful 19 year old girl from the most prestigious college, made this happen. And everyone I came with knew she was the most attractive. I love pretty Ivy League girls. I want them, I know this, and when they know I know this, they love this.
