So a month ago, I started talking to this girl who I find really hot, that's in one of my friend's group of friends (which are all very attractive females) and it's sort of been the first time we've actually hung out and really talked and enjoyed a conversation but not really the first time we've met and the first couple times which was a long time ago have been really awkward experiences, and I wasn't considered the best of looking and had a bad rep for being "that guy's weird friend". Then last year to this year, all of that changes when I start working out, dressing better, developing better social skills, etc. And that day I hung out with all of them, I was surprised by the progress I've made because they'd just been complimenting and were astonished on how much I've changed and all of them had been trying to sit so close to me and interested in catching up with me rather than it being some awkward bullshit. Even running into her when I stop by my other friend's house, she always stops what she's doing just to run and give me a hug. Even recently, she added me on snapchat when I was thinking of some elaborate plan to just ask her for her snapchat next time I see her. Really, I just want a hook up because I'm not looking for a relationship due to a breakup months before all this happened.

Now to get to the point on what I'm confused on and about (and one more thing); Last night we had sort of started talking on snapchat (and were still talking, just a friendly conversation) but responding to each-other takes forever. Today, I was facetiming one of my good friends and he told me that he was talking to one of her friends (one of the females there that day I hung out with them) and he sort of wants the same thing (a hook up with the same girl) but were not competing like a bunch of cocky d**kheads and he's already about to give up on it cause he's developed interest in another, so he's helping me out cause I've never had experience or the knowledge to get things like this to happen. The girl he was talking to (and even her) had known and she offered to help him hook up with her but until he told her that he wasn't interested but wanted to help me, she told him that she wants nothing to do with me. So really I'm confused if I should still give it a try or just stop talking to her. I don't wanna be that douchebag or naive guy to keep trying if I'm gonna go nowhere. I know, I have a wide variety of choices but I just want that one. If anyone could help me, I'd really appreciate it.

TLDR; hung out and caught up with a friend and her group of friends that low key thought I was Igor from Frankenstien but until they saw me, they were astonished by my transformation to godly hood and intrigued, took an interest for hooking up with one of the most prettiest girls there (but not done something yet) and she gets excited to see me every time I make a short appearance at another friend's place. Started talking on snap but very slow for some reason cause I don't look at snap. Found out she wants nothing to with me through a friend and I'm confused cause she does not know.
