I know this title looks worrisome. Don't worry: I'm not trying to hit on a friend that i've had a crush on for a million years that I didn't tell them about.

I don't touch people as often as I should, unless it's a hello/goodbye hug/handshake/whatever. I intend to change this.

I've heard that a good idea is that whenever you would touch yourself, (slapping your knee when laughing, for example), you should probably touch someone else instead.

Any other tips, or high level concepts here? I know that regular humans learn this by doing it, and observing others, but I find that having things pointed out makes me learn social things way faster.
