Could use a little feedback here on turning a number into a date.

Met a beautiful latin girl during lunch on a Wednesday - she was sitting with a friend, but I walked over and struck up a conversation. We chatted for a few minutes - turns out she in town for 2 more weeks doing an English as a Second Language Program. I got her number 5 mins into the conversation, talked with her and her friend a few minutes more, then she left. Texted her later that day, and she replied.

Thursday, called her about 8pm - she missed my call, but called me back a few minutes later and we talked for 10 minutes. At the end, I asked her what her schedule was like next week. She said wide open, so I said "let's get a drink". She said that sounded good, and told me to text her to set it up.

Monday, texted her saying "Hey, Week still look open? We need to have a drink before you go". And nothing back. She splits Saturday, so tried again today with "[xxx]! How's the last week of class?" Expect I'm toast..oh well.

So, internets....got any thoughts on how to spice up this game? This happens to me a lot - easy to get a number, but fall flat when it comes time to schedule a date. I can kill it if I get them in person, but find getting that first date is a problem for me.
