It's good you want to change, but understand it will take a long time, and that it will be hard work. It's going to be a long exciting journey in which you'll learn a lot about yourself and how people work. To start with, you have to push your comfort zone and do things you don't feel like doing - instead of staying in and watching TV, you should choose to go out and talk to people. Once you're out, instead of sitting back, you gotta approach girls and introduce yourself to them, and converse with them. Girls love to have fun, so you have to genuinely be having fun yourself for it to work. Don't try to take anything away from girls, but rather, invite them to your party. If it goes bad, then you will learn from it and get better. There is no easy way to start doing this. You have have to ask yourself, is the fear of going out and talking to people worse than the boredom of staying in? Will it make you happy to be the same old person a year from now? Apart from this, you should realise that the type of guy who is really good with women, is generally happy with himself, and lives a life he is proud of. So make good choices, and create a life you enjoy. It's fine if you're a "good boy", don't pretend to be a "bad boy" if that's not inherently you, because you'll find that dishonestly works against you. But don't be a push over - learn to be dominant too, and strive to become independent. It's good you are studying, and that you play sports. Strive to be good at these things, because it'll give you a sense of worth and self confidence that you can bring everywhere you go. Go out, take risks, and talk to girls.

Get to a point where you are 100% content with who you are as a person, then start approaching. It's simple, but it's scary, just walk up to a girl and say hi and have a conversation. No pressure or expectations, then if she apears to show interest ask for a number.
