Get a date man. Just you and her, friends shouldnt be involved in this initial date.

Do that, escalate on the date (hold hands, and kiss if you can).

That is the only way to know if she likes you/

Judge people by their actions, not words (Law of power).

IF she doesnt turn up - she doesnt have that much interest. If she does, she is interested because she already asked you if you like her, so she obviously likes you.

Do you like her? If not, then move on. It's easy to feel reflected attraction - you liking her just because she is showing an interest in you (especially if she was previously hostile).

I have to say, I'd be a little suspicious that she wasn't just being a bitch. Could be she "hated" you because she liked you and couldn't express those kind of feelings, or she might have not liked you and still not like you and have something harsh planned. Depends on how mature she is.

if you like her: ask for a date.

girls usually backward rationalize why they shouldn't date you etc. because they don't like the fact that they like you and because they want to screen out wrong men.

when she mentions stuff like you are not alike, tell her that this is one of the reason you decided to give it a shot, you don't like hanging out with your shadow... you want someone different good luck
