First of all, stop saying you're pathetic. You've got hobbies and interests and fucking value, friend; just 'cuz you're not smooth with the ladies yet doesn't mean you lack inherent value. So quit that shit.

Second, read up on the sidebar for some beginner's tips on getting into the game. Like the other guy said, hit the gym. It's another tool in your toolbox, and it'll make you feel great about yourself once you're in the routine of putting in work. If you're at a loss for that stuff, head on over to r/fitness and poke around a bit.

Third, and this is just some perspective on my end, but talking to girls is a lot like talking to guys. They, too, will have interests and hobbies. If you find yourself at a loss of what to say to them, ask them what they like to do in their free time, or what kinda music they like, etc. Girls care a lot less about looks than you think, and a lot more about genuine interaction where it doesn't seem like all you want to do is fuck, 'cuz that just seems creepy and fake.

Anyway, stick around this sub, and you'll be alright, bud. A little patience with yourself and the process goes a long way.

Start with small things like talking to a girl first. Then take baby steps like making girl friends and try to make it work through them like telling them to set you up.

Nothing is wrong with pua but you can try above method because you are still in college and you can make it happen.

Try to lose some weight too. Browse r/malefashionadvice if possible.
