This is a very 'old school' way of opening girls. I'm wondering if anyone uses this method.

Interestingly, i've been opened like this a number of times by girls. (usually by girls who just want to get to know me so that i'll by them a drink in a bar)

But since girls seem to be more socially aware than guys, I wonder if it's maybe a decent way of opening when you can't think of anything better in the moment. (I guess You also need to make it convincing)

I've tried this a handful of times recently, and it's been 'working' OK for me so far. By 'working' I simply mean i'm yet to be told something like ''Sorry, not interested!'' like I sometimes hear if I simply smile and say like 'Hey guys, I'm pathe. How's your night going?'' or something like that
