Was looking through my old posts and found this in my rolling stone days. Figure it might be helpful to some of you guys.
Hey boys and gents! Sorry once again for my hiatus. I have been busy living my life and practicing my craft of seduction, while forgetting the documenting of my findings and experiences. Over the past few weeks I have had many successes and failures, and in the process I have come to many assumptions and conclusions, only to find myself grasping at straw again. Yet among moments of sudden clarity and befuddlement, I found myself at the tip of something larger. A truth, of some sort. So please bear with me here. I am going to get pretty theoretical on this here post.
A Unifying Theory of Seduction
Wtf? Am I trying to be Einstein here? Why Unifying? Well, in the scientific world, a Unifying Theory is one which connects two or more levels of seemingly different aspects, through the understanding of a deeper, underlying truth. For instance, scientists are now trying to come up with a Unifying Theory regarding both general physics and quantum physics, two fields that seem to operate on completely different rules and principles, by searching for deeper mechanics that underlie both fields. A Unifying Theory of Seduction will not only bring about a neatly organized system of thoughts about seduction and attraction, but it will also hopefully end the ceaseless debate between inner game and outer game, as they are really just the two sides of the same coin.
The Push-Pull Theory
Ok, let’s ask a polerizing question in the field of seduction: does appearance matter in seduction? Now, I am sure all of you can provide anecdotal evidence to back up claims from either sides. Have I seen tall, buff, handsome dudes pulling chicks like it’s their jobs? All the Damn time. Have I seen portly, homely men pulling HB9s in clubs? More than I care to count. So what’s the truth here?
It fucking matters. To deny that appearance doesn’t matter is like saying money doesn’t buy you happiness. No, money can’t buy you happiness, but having it surely won’t make you sad. In the same vein, appearance is like money. Having a good and attractive appearance won’t make you sad, either. But it won’t guarantee you happiness, or women.
So what does this debate have to do with our theory here? Well, let’s look at what makes these two kind of men able to pull beautiful women. We know that it’s not appearance alone, because even unattractive men can pull hot women. So it is something that both types of men possess. Alright, how about confidence? That’s the magic C word in seduction that is all important, right? Well, I can’t tell you how many times I have seen bold and intrepid men (myself included) failed to capture women’s attention, just to be spurned or later left behind at the slightest opportunity by them. So what the hell is this magical stuff that seems to bring these two types of men together? What is this magical particle?
I shall call it Push-Pull.
If You Push, You Lose
If confidence is all you need in seduction, I would have pulled so many women in my fearless, drunken stupor. Why do drunk guys rarely get women? They surely are fearless, as their pre-frontal lobe is numbed by alcohol — by definition they ARE fearless. Instead, as they slur and mumble to women, they seem to only push them further and further away. That’s because they are pushing.
Ever heard of the famous adage, “Be the flame, not the moth” ? Yeah. Easy enough. Just be attractive and watch the women flocking to you. Yes? Well, it’s not that simple. I would like for you to imagine that there’s a line between you and a beautiful woman. Everytime you overreach yourself, you fall over and you lose. Likewise, when the beautiful woman overreaches herself, she falls over and loses. Attraction is kind of like that. You want to get the other person to fall over herself for you.
Well, you may ask, “I have seen men just straight up grabbing girls in clubs, and the girls just swoon over!” Ok, well don’t think of pushing and pulling as some kind of physical acts. When a man puts his arm around a girl, who’s doing the pushing and pulling here? Let’s see: while the man is obviously and literally “pushing”, what is his state of mind when he wraps his arm around the girl? Is he fidgety and worried that he might be rejected, or is he self-assured and nonchalant? If he is the latter, he is actually pulling the girl, by drawing her into his state of power and confidence.
In other words, Push-Pull is more about your state of mind than your actual actions. Of course, your actions can be the manifestation of your state of mind. Start from the right frame of mind, and your actions will follow. Mind begets action. Not the other way around.
Be A Star
In a nutshell, attraction is really a game of who can “pull” the other person into them. Imagine you are a star (do you know: all objects regardless of their size have gravitational pull? That means yes, you, have gravitational pull, literally!), and you meets a HB9, which is also a star in her own rights. Now because she is a very beautiful woman, she naturally has a lot of gravitational pull. Hence it is why it is difficult to get HB9s. They make men “push” into them, and lose. Now, what if you are a smaller star than her? Won’t you eventually get sucked into her anyway? Well, fortunately we are not exactly like stars, where mass is everything. We are dynamic. Sometimes we push, and sometimes we pull. A smaller star may pull more at this moment than the bigger star. May be you play a guitar at this moment, and that pulls her into you. Or you sing beautifully while looking softly into her eyes, and she pushes into you.
Well, alright, we understand the basic mechanics of push-pull, big deal! We already know that attractive people have more pull. So what? Well, guess what? The most important you can do with a beautiful woman is STOP PUSHING INTO HER. That means stop sucking up to her, fawning to her, supplicating to her, trying to impress her. Instead, you be the star that pulls her in! Once you stop pushing into her, it’s a matter of you pulling her into you. And you WIN.
A whole lot of mumbo jumbo there. It seems. So let me put things in more concrete terms:
What gives you your pull (other than your own gravity, of course)? Your values: appearance, social status, money, humor, talents… all the things that we appreciate in someone. So, understanding the concept of push-pull will not automatically make you become attractive. The truth is that you still have to work on yourself, and increase your values. That means to dress nice, earn money, have good social standing, be interesting, learn talents, etc. That doesn’t change.
Once you developed your own pull, you will have to always come from the mindset of “pull”, and never “push” again. Begin by recognizing when you are sucking up, fawning, supplicating and giving into people, not just women. Then STOP DOING THEM. Once it becomes a subconscious state of being, your actions naturally signal to the world that you are “pulling”, and not being “pulled” into others. Once you become a star, you will realize how silly “pick up” lines are, and all the other gimmicks that serves to only put you in a pushing mindset instead. JUST BE A STAR.
That’s it.
Knowing is the first step. Now go DO IT. Go out and approach girls. But in every moment of interaction, watch out for your pushing. And as your gravitational pull spreads unfettered into the world, watch people being pulled into you. Watch them pushing into you. They could be dudes, girls, whoever.
This will change your life.
