Thanks to a lot of advice that I got from this forum. I worked up enough courage to talk to a stranger in a bar. She gave me an IOI, so I decided to just go over and start talking to her and her friends. She was cute, I would say a 7. 30 minutes of dancing, holding hands and bar hoping later, I was teasing her while we were holding hands walking down the street, so I said screw it and went in for a kiss.

When I went in for the kiss, she put up some lmr, but was still being really flirty. We hung out for a few more hours, and had a great time.

The moral of the story is that I have pretty much always been too afraid of rejection to try anything with girls, but I just said screw it, even if she rejects me, I'll never see her again. I did get rejected on the kiss, but it was no where near as bad as I had imagined. It feels great to know that I tried and came so close. With a little more practice maybe I can become better at getting around lmr.

I have much more confidence in myself now, after that experience.
