I’ve had this problem for as long as I’ve been interested in girls. I am always very nervous to escalate and make a move. I have no problem talking with girls and getting them interested in me. I think I do come off as kind of dorky but in a confident way that some girls like. Anyways, I’m not super experienced with this stuff and have never had sex, but I think my big problem lies in making the first move and kissing her. There is a girl I met in college who I like a lot. She has the same sense of humor as I do and we both really clicked. Now I know for a fact she is/was into me and totally wanted me to make a move, I just got really nervous and never did it (there were multiple opportunities). I think I’m scared that I’m going to be judged and she isn’t going to like it or make fun of me or whatever other negative situation my brain can possibly create. I also think I have an issue with building girls up in my head as something more than they are but I do really like this girl and think we’re super compatible. Anyways, I’ve been on break for a couple of weeks now, we’re both from the same town so she’s here too but we haven’t seen each other, just snap chatted off and on. I saw her pretty regularly at college so it’s different.

All this said I’m wondering if she’s still even interested now that it’s been a couple of months and I haven’t made a move. I think she can tell I’m shy about it but I feel like maybe I missed my shot and need to learn to just go for it next chance I get. Also, any tips on making that push through being nervous and scared to making the move? I’m frustrated with myself because this has been a pretty recurrent theme for me, girl is obviously interested but I’m too scared to make anything of it.
