So there's a girl I know who I've been thinking about asking to a formal. She's cool, hot, and I think it would be a good time.

What I'm interesting in, however, is figuring out how to make it clear from the start that we aren't just going as friends, or rather, that I have romantic intentions.

We don't hang out much, but we're friendly and she views me on the 'friend' level. What do you guys think?
