I went to a show a few nights ago. I noticed a girl that I had a class with a couple of years ago, so I approached her and her friends. It also turns out that I had met one of her friends at a previous show at another venue. Throughout the rest of the show, I kind of notice my former classmate sticking close to me.

After the show, the girls, a friend of mine, and I all go down to my former classmate's place. We hang out, order some food, smoke some dope, shoot the shit. During that time, I don't even think I engaged in verbal flirtation with her, I just remember doing things like picking her up and putting her on my lap, and she seemed totally cool with it. There was another point were she was sitting lengthwise along her sofa, and I sat with my head positioned between her legs, subtely touching and rubbing her there, out of view of the rest of the guests. The other three eventually left for one of the other girls' places, and I stayed with my former classmate. As soon as they shut the door, we immediately started making out, which led to sex.

Since I'm very sexually inexperienced, it "just happening" so naturally and organically felt very outside my experience. Like, just the fact that we could both seem to read each other and understand that the physical attraction was mutual. There wasn't even really any talking about it, no "do you want to have sex?", it just "happened," it the way it "just happens" in the movies or something. She even just sort of jammed me inside of herself before I had even put on protection, and I had to put the stops on that and put a condom on before I continued, because as hot as having her do that was, I wasn't about to have unprotected sex with somebody who isn't a long-term partner (she gets regularly tested, but I'm not putting all my chips in that pot). Being very inexperienced, I feel like this was also the first time I've had "good sex," because the (two) other times I had ever engaged in it went very poorly. I, of course, said nothing about my inexperience or lack of confidence, and I don't think she noticed anything that would suggest these things to her. In fact, I made some joke like, "I'll have you know that I'm a good Christian boy, and I never do this kind of thing" afterward. Her response was a shocked "really?" I let her know I was just joking (well, mostly; I "rarely do this kind of thing," but not because of any religious committment; mostly because I just don't know how to get laid). I also joked "I should probably let you know that I have a girlfriend." She responded with a (less shocked) "really?" I let her know that I was joking again. Her response was, "No girlfriend, eh? Why's that?"

Being sexually inexperienced for my age and having limited sexual contact, as well as never having had a girlfriend, has been a source of insecurity for me, so this event was very validating. Still, since I feel that it was a matter of taking advantage of an opportunity that presented itself, and I didn't do anything pro-active to create this opportunity, I feel as though I just "got lucky," which makes we unsure of how and if I'll ever have a similar experience again. I enjoyed it, and want casual sex, hookups, and one-night stands to be a more regular thing for me. I know that my self-esteem will return to its baseline in time if this is a one-off thing, and I don't end up getting laid again any time soon. So, how do I make lightning strike twice? Thrice? Regularly?
