I am a 20 year old guy attending community college in Los Angeles, and over the last six months I have done close to 200 approaches. I have no issue getting a number, but after I send my initial text "hey xxx, its arebours" I usually get no response. If they do reply they usually stop responding after my second text. It's been pretty frustrating to say the least.

I usually approach on campus, and open with "Excuse me, I thought you were really pretty so I had to come say hi".
