Pick them up. I had a date with a girl last Monday, the initial plan was to meet at a restaurant but I picked her up instead. We did the eating and sat side by side so lots of kino, which put everything into a good mood for when I took her to the park by the waterfront. I came prepared with a blanket and shit got serious.

Even though I live in the city this date was worth it.

I would still ask girls to come near you. I've been doing that in SF to great success so far (5 for 5 on dates, 3 of which are coming in from the burbs).

I heard theories that you should get the girl to come to you, rather than you traveling to her, at least at first. If you go too far out of your way, you're being supplicative to some extent.

I recall some mPUA (I forget who) that said he always tried to get his dates to come to his house, then park her car while he drives them in his car on the date. When the date gets there, he just happens to be walking his dog (even if it takes hours of walking the damn dog). Then he asks her up to his apartment while he takes the dog back home, then leave after a few minutes. This way she has already been in his apartment by the end of the date when he brings her back to her car. It's a lot easier to get her to come in, if she's already been there before.
