I think blocking her was the wrong call, my dude. Sometimes people become busy or don't know how to respond. I think it would've been fine, especially considering you were looking for the possibility of friendship, to message her sometime, (in my opinion after a good amount of time had passed since you least messaged), and say something like "hey, it's been a while. I was thinking about you today and missed talking to you. How've you been?" Maybe throw in specific questions about stuff you guys were talking about before the silence. If she continued talking, I'd say throw in a "you're a cool person, I dig it and like talking to you. I want to be friends." As for now that you've blocked her? Trickier. I'd say you don't have anything to lose by unblocking her and trying to re-establish a connection. Say you had a little depressive episode and went silent on everyone outside the main circle until you were feeling better, I'd imagine most people can understand those feels lately. If you guys do connect again, make your intentions known early, whether it's friendship or more than that. If she isn't up for reconnecting then all you can do is move on.

I feel you. I say the same thing. But i forgot, it already happened once so I did say to her “hey, listen... I really don’t know why sometimes you don’t respond to me so honestly if you’re just not digging me I’ll respect that” and she didn’t respond to it. It was after that where she responded to the flirty comment. So she still didn’t respond after I was straight forward with that comment. So I don’t know. Thank you for your input
