For some inner game food for thought, we are going to discuss JEALOUSY

Before we talk about it, it is important to know the difference between envy and jealousy

Envy is when your neighbor gets a new car for Christmas and you wish you had the same car

If anything, Todd is actually in favor of being envious rather than jealous because it can motivate you; at least to a certain point. So you can have the mental drive to go out and get a better car than your neighbor

Jealousy is very specifically about sex.

Jealousy is when you are sleeping with a girl, and you feel like someone else is also sleeping with her so you get angry and reactive

Or if you are close to sleeping with a girl or have a chance to, and someone else is sleeping with her. It’s specifically towards sex

A lot of people ask how to eliminate the feeling of being jealous.

That emotion was very beneficial during the tribal era because that gave men the opportunity to either confront the beta guy in the tribe and have him back down, or indicate that the girl is not someone to give your seed to or the kid she has might not be yours

It’s a monitor to our genetic investment if that makes sense

Even til this day, a lot of times if you are feeling jealous; there MAY be a reason as to why

Some people are inherently jealous and they blow everything out of proportion

But if you are a normal person with proper etiquette and in tune with their emotional status, there maybe a reason as to why you feel that and may require additional action

However the problem is this...

If you start acting jealous, what does that convey to the girl?

It’s conveying to her that you’re insecure, you’re beta, and you’re afraid to lose her

If you’re afraid to lose her then that means you don’t have abundance, you’re overly monitoring and controlling

So how should you approach this is you are feeling that way?

Feel the emotion, but don’t be OWNED by it

There’s a phrase that states, “With the first drink man drinks wine. With the second drink wine drinks wine. With the third drink wine drinks man”

Think of that relationship with man and wine as your relationship with jealousy

When you have that little feeling of jealousy, or as soon as you feel that negative emotion creeping in, it’s a signal

And depending on the circumstances, it may be something you would have to address in the real world

But you should not get to the point where the wine drinks man which is jealousy consuming you

Be aware of when that emotion occurs and ask yourself, “is there a reason for this?”

Treat it as a signal and nothing more

Act as unemotional and as positive as you can after you decided if the signal means something or not

I recommend to all of my reddit users to use the same methods as anger management.

Take a deep breath from your nose and stomach, count to 7, breathe out for 8. Repeat that 5-6 times

So that way your emotional state can subside and you can use your full irrational mind on how to fix the situation at hand

Your overall being as a man should not be consumed by emotion. You should be fair and reasonable as much as possible, and use those kinds of emotions as a signal rather than a catalyst to act.
