I've been in this community for about 4.5 years, so I guess you can say that I've been with a decent amount of women, but like most of you, you come across that one girl who just tears down your walls, and makes you vulnerable. She's a hometown girl. Knew her before I started pick up. Always thought she was cute, but never made too much of it since I was busy chasing other girls or not paying attention to her. Before the holidays at a Halloween party, we hooked up. She actually made the first move by kissing me on the dance floor. I was shocked to see and experience it because I never saw her as a sexually desirable female. Always the nice, shy and kind type. We started to "see" each other. Probably once every two weeks. She was always busy with work or school, and me with work and such. Well, long story short...I fell for her, and she knew it. I intentionally verbalize that I had feelings for her so she wouldn't think that I was just talking to her for sex. She was able to give me butterflies and turn me on at the same time. Never knew too many women that could do that. Well, she made a point that she wasn't looking for anything serious because of her life schedule, and she even mention a nasty break up with her most recent b/f. They weren't the words I was hoping to hear, but I couldn't argue. I had to let her go. The end of whatever it was that we shared made me realize a few things. 1) Rejection/ break ups are inevitable. You can only hope that it ends on good terms. No one should suffer more than they should. 2) I've spent a lot of time reflecting on myself (my choices/lifestyles/hobbies) and realize that my ideas and mental awareness has expanded. I've been more kind, and open to things. 3) It's not the end of the world. As much as it sucks and I want her back, I must move on and keep busy. Focus on myself and my passions-my mental thinking being "Whoever wants to join me on my journey may do so." Always striving to become a better man all around. Inside and out. I even joined a gym to help me ease some tension in my noggin. 4) There are gonna be "good" days and "bad" days. Days where I'll feel like I'm fine, and days where I am struggling, but I always try to focus on the positive, keep my chin up and smile (even if its fake).

I guess the point of this post is to kind of remind you guys rejection can't be stopped no matter how much we know, done, been, seen, said, etc etc. On the other UPPER hand, we do belong to this community. We know more about love than most guys know about their cholesterol level, so that definitely gives me hope of getting back out on the field. Thanks for reading. Please feel free to include anything you want in this post.
