Yes hug! Always. Who cares if you think its gay, it breaks a very important contact barrier especially if you see her again, it builts a connection between you two. If its a group just be like "What the fuck?! Group hug now!" (Awesome line btw).

If you can get used to hugging girls before you leave you will find that they begin to expect it, which is a good thing. Buy some good cologne, have a good smell to yourself, something she can identify. Sorta flex and push your chest out, she doesnt want to sink into you... and barely touch her.. bear hugs come later.

Hugging her wont put you in a friend 'zone' but it will make her more comfortable around you, in daygame i hug every # close, if she refuses it probably means something was shakey in your game and will be a flake anyway (only happened a few times).

tl;dr: Yes do it.
