Send them something weird and drastic to weed out the bad ones. Something like:

"Did you know that German has a word for panic-buying things? It's Hamsterkaufen. Literally, hamster-buy. Because you're buying toilet paper like how a hamster stuffs its face with food."

Or

"The only reason that people are buying so much toilet paper is because the prime minister of Japan scared the Japanese by saying that China could stop sending ships of toilet paper to Japan. News flash. America makes its own toilet paper."
