So about 2 weeks ago i was at a theatre show of a friend. I saw there a girl which really was my type that played a roll in there. After the show i walked up to her gave her a compliment for her performance and said i would like to get to know her.

She rejected me with saying shes got a boyfriend which was fine for me. Some days ago my friend said that this girl was having a houseparty and she said to him that he can invite me to which kind of confused me.

Anyway 2 days ago i went to that houseparty and we got to get to know each other a bit. She seems interested in me and also gave me some compliments. Also she said she is going to break up with her boyfriend this weekend. (I know its not good to go for such girls but the reason she told me why she is breaking up is understandable)

I told her i like her and would like to go on a date with her but not while she is in a relationship.

I asked for her number and said she can hit me up after she broke up if she still would like to. We couldn't talk that much at the party because there were lots of people that interrupted our conversations which is normal for a houseparty.

I left a very good impression on her and had also a lot of fun with the other people at the party.

I am asking for tips because normally i am like yeah i dont care what happens. I dont know why but i really want to get together with this girl and because of that i am worried about making mistakes.

So right now i texted her first but got no response yet. She wasnt online for a day and also told me at the party she hates texting which is fine for me because i hate it too.

Should i now just wait to see what happens or can i do something to support this.
