I went to a subway after work on Monday and spotted a guy who works there. As I drank my coffee I was working up the courage to ask for his number. I get to the counter and my mind just froze. I bought some cookies and all I could say was ‘have you had a good day?’ He smiled and replied and I paid for the cookies and left.

Went back today. Today I was going to do it. I got there during lunch rush and he was super busy so I didn’t. For two hours I read my book and was waiting for him to be alone behind the counter to have a second shot and he was always busy around the shop. Then he finished work and left. And I just sat there. Completely missed my chance again.

I’m going to try again after work on Friday. I have to do it before I become that weird girl that keeps coming into subway and just buying cookies. Anyone else totally chickened out today?
