touching women isn't weird on a date or otherwise. really, you have to unlearn that belief. it's literally not true.

look at different ways to escalate and choose the ways that you feel you can do most confidently. lots of blog posts about different escalation ladders if you google it.

and try to sit side by side always. some places make that impossible and it's probably even worth not going to those places.

if youre driving, you can always put ur hand on her leg as ur driving, (with one hand on the steering wheel ofc) if she doesnt contest, move your hand up. by then you should realize that the 'touching boundaries' have been crushed and that she is comfortable with you
