So I got two girls numbers. One from a night out, just on the street when I was heading home. And another is a waitress (I'm from Australia so tipping isn't an incentive), whilst having dinner with a (male) friend.

I texted both, no response from both. I initially called the first, she didn't pick up so I texted her. For the second I texted, and just then I called her but no response (didn't leave a message). Should I re-try the first and/or second? I got the first girl's number at least a couple of weeks ago.

Another thing is, both times I was intoxicated (drunk and high). I feel like I can't approach women/people without weed or alcohol. I feel like weed helps to bring me down to reality and calm my general social anxiety and alcohol just generally makes me more fun.

Personally, I think I should have continued to try to get more numbers after the 2nd girl since it was early in the night and it gave me a HUGE ego boost.

Any advice is appreciated.
