I texted a girl from my class, who's my prom partner.

Me: "(name), what is the color of your dress?"

Her: "It's dark red with yellow flowers on. Are you finding clothes?"

Me: "Yeah, so I wanted to know what color your dress was, so we wouldn't look like people from two different planets :)"

Her: "Good idea :) Are you then going to find a tie of that color and things like that?"

Me: "Yeah, that's actually kind of what I was thinking of"

Me (again): "Hey, is your football training also cancelled?"

Her: "What do you mean with cancelled?"

Me: "postponed*"

Me (again): "Well, actually it's because my training was cancelled, so I don't get any exercise this vacation. So I want to play some badminton, and was wondering whether you wanted to as well"

Her: "Unfortunately, I don't have that much time in this vacation. Is (another football team in the club) also cancelled?"

Me: "I don't know."
