You have 3 seconds

Tldr You have 3 seconds to decide whether or not to approach. Any longer is too late.

There is a popular rule in the pickup community started by Neil Strauss and Mystery titled The 3 Second Rule. What the 3 second rule is is when you see a girl you want to approach you have 3 seconds to decide whether to approach her or not. This is supposed to get rid of approach anxiety.

There is another reason for the 3 second rule I realized. If you loiter around a girl too long she will know what's going on and will probably freak out or move away. Girls have a sense of when a guy is going to approach and if you don't act soon enough your window of opportunity will shut.

Lesson learned: When I see a girl I want to approach I no longer longer for fear of missing the opportunity.
