Actually was interesting to read three folk tales from different cultures that I hadn't heard before.

Many fairy tales that are considered examples of prejudice against women are just as bad in terms of the message for men. For every damsel that needs saving, there's a man being rewarded for putting himself in ridiculous danger, and usually killing a bunch of other men in the process.
