What do MGTOWs think about artificial wombs/sperm and sexbots?

Women don't want to be men. They don't want to be forced to take all the responsibilities it means to be man. They will try to outlaw or shame men who go their own way and anything that helps accomplish that. Sexbots aren't appealing to women because a sexbot is only good for sex and won't actually be able to provide for a woman. Sexbots for men on the otherhand will explode in popularity, and women will try to stop this from happening as they can't compete against a sexbot that doesn't have any emotional or financial issues.

That goes for artificial wombs as well. They won't give up their womb because it gives them power. Artificial sperm on the other hand will be a blessing for them. They can get beta providers, then choose the genes inside of the sperm to create exceptional humans and get their beta provider to pave the way.

I believe society is going to collapse sooner rather than later (at least western society). Humans have gotten too far away from our primitive roots and we were never supposed to be as advanced as we are. The way I see it we'll either be taken over by radical Islam (like a lot of Europe), we'll go extinct like in the mouse utopia experiment, or we'll turn to nationalism once the economy collapses (much harder than we did before). In any case society won't continue like it has. Maybe we'll get to sexbots though. Personally I'm for anything that takes the ability to control a man out of woman's hands.

Im equally pessimistic as the other users here. Artificial wombs are some futorology/technocapitalist wet dream. With increasing population, radicalisation of religions, global pullution, wealth concentration, destabilizing currency markets, advancing state surveillance and last but not least growing male dissatisfaction in the Western world we are really heading for a cliff.

I have no idea how it will affect society... but I'd like to find out.

My guess is that artificial wombs will be one of a number of reproductive technologies which continue to advance. Artificial insemination, for instance, was initially met with apprehension but has become relatively noncontroversial. People are fairly adaptable, but it may take a generation or two of people to adopt a new technology, and new social interactions that arise from said technology.

Ultimately, I think that both men and women will be happier with artificial wombs and sperm and synthetic companions tailored to their personal tastes...

haha, there's a lot of marketing which would have to occur, however. It would be impossible to sell the idea of an artificial womb to the greater public without a good sales job.

A number of MGTOW would love to flip women the bird and flaunt technological replacements and surrogates of women, but this will only slow the inevitable progress because things like funding these projects would benefit from, say, some rich old women paying top dollar for a second chance at fertility through an artificial womb.

I, for one, would love to take their money - in order to further the goal of male reproductive sovereignty, ultimately.

How women come upon their money is not my concern, nor is it my concern how they keep or spend it. My business will be to offer a good/service and if women pay for that service, then I , as a man, will put that money to good use (arguably better than anything they were going to do with it, so long as they can afford reproductive tech and the children it produces).

I'd like to laugh maniacally, and ironically quote Vladimir Lenin saying "The Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them."

I have no qualms about selling artificial wombs if ever I am able to do so. The beautiful thing about market economies is that it doesn't matter your gender or disposition - it's true equality, blind and impartial (especially as search costs continue to fall, for instance, with the relative anonymity of the internet). No one gives a fuck about how "cute" you are - everybody pays the same price in the low[read: zero]-search-cost market.

They wanted equality, and they're going to get it. Ironically, as you level the playing field it is the fittest who strive (but don't tell the feminists that... ) - you do have to dispense with old notions of chivalry and restrictive male codes of conduct, though, and approach the cold, leveling field amorally, and be prepared to take things and petition for yourself (because no one will respect your masculinity [save for enclaves such as ours] going into the future).

You will only be a competitor for resources in the eyes of most sexually liberated peoples (who are increasingly isolated through technology as we have seen in the paradox of social media of more people being connected and forming fewer deep social connections).

In nature there is often an uneasy truce around protecting "you and yours" and others doing likewise... society, which is currently held together with string and bailing wire, will become even more uneasy in this truce as people gain more freedom and resources remain finite (more "bumping into" people).

The meek will inherent the earth because the meek tend to gang up out of fear, and fear will increase as freedom through technology increases, and things like "files" from the science fiction author, Neil Stevenson, will pop up; mutual aid societies will become more powerful, ironically, as people isolate themselves. Perhaps it makes sense that the void needs to be filled where the tribe/community/family used to fill, but I think it is ironic to predict the rise of mutual aid societies in a future of increasing technologically-induced isolation.

I think parenting will become even more automated.

Parents already send their children off to be educated somewhere and don't raise their kids while teaching them a family trade, like "Smith" or "Fischer" or "Schumacher" or "Baker" or "Brewer" and other such sirnames. In the information age online programs will gain quality and prominence greater than things like the Khan academy and MIT open courseware. Kids will gain less and less from parents in terms of knowledge - but guidance toward application of that knowledge (in the face of a cold, uncaring, isolated world) will become invaluable. Fatherly advice from random youtube videos might not be enough (especially for the sons of single mothers). Making sense of information will become more valuable than the information itself... critical thinking in the face of more massive-meme media will become like the rarefied air above a fog, and people who can navigate (or navigate above) the turbulent-white-noise social landscape will ultimately be like those that barbarossaaaa pointed to in his powered by orgasm series - able to affect change and steer the human animal.

MGOTW, more than anything, will only be as valuable as it improves male navigation upon the frontier of the future. The community of wisdom-sharing and true masculine virtue will be valuable for those men who partake in the sharing of wisdom. More than Turd flinging monkey's monkeynomics, or Dark Knight's transcendence, or Stardusk's philological thinking (and classical phylogeny and philology and philosophy), or Sandman's salesmanship, or Groundwork of the metaphyisics of MGTOW's philosophy, or Barb's fire - MGTOW gains from the male space a kind of synergistic effect (like how a laser bounces hot light back and forth between two mirrors, creating a scintillating beam that cuts through things... in this case, bullshit).

The evolution of MGTOW in a future that becomes replete with reproductive freedom will be interesting. What will happen to male separatists, so to speak? What new frontiers will we find? What new trails will we blaze after this generation's fight has passed?

I would be curious to see.

Assuming that our fledgeling movement is not a fad caused by the gender inequality of males being ignored... MGTOW wouldn't exist without the current and historical social trends, and things like artificial wombs are a game-changer... were they a reality, then the ultimate relevance of MGTOW might not have existed because one could point to a new form of male reproductive sovereignty, and, thus, men would have less to go away from. If many MGTOW get what we want, then the relevance of MGTOW might very well fade, unfortunately, and I'll have to seek a new oasis of thought.

This is not the end of history, and reproductive technology, gender dynamics, and things like transhumanism, are stories that will be written for many years to come.

I have no idea what would happen, to answer your question, that's why I want to make it happen and see for myself how I might affect change in the stream of time, in the social current.

But I bet that you're right about the genders further separating as we sort ourselves into our desired groups in the face of reproductive choices loosening the binds of the selective pressures that held men and women together.

I think this is a great idea. You can always genetically engineer a woman by throwing another chromosome in there.

No downsides really, plus then you wouldn't have a bunch of angry betas.
