Woah-- why do you find Mad Men to be a female oriented show? It has a few female characters that are fairly interesting and get some screen time-- but the core of the show is an american badass drinking and fucking his way through the sixties, no matter how many women and business rivals try to monkey wrench him. Not to mention it's very honest about the tragic failures of the marriage paradigm.

Bullshit. Nobody wants to be loved with someone else's definition of what love is , its almost fucking worthless to that person, and that is the entire problem. "you don't even know what IT is" means that Leonard acknowledges their definition of love is right and his own definition of love is wrong, in other words he judges himself as being wrong and them being right. (typical Blue pill thinking) People want to be loved on their own terms. People can show you what they consider to be love and if it doesn't match your definition of what love is , it will be worthless to you and you may not even notice it, and that is perfectly natural. If you are dying in the desert of thirst and someone hands you a gold brick, and expects you to appreciate how much they have done for you, you have every right to spit in their face.
