I ate at an Indian place in my new neighborhood, this young girl waitress served me with an obvious put-on "sad" attitude, like she was really sad to be there, bordering on rudeness. I took pleasure in tipping her a penny :D

So this was circa 2006....April timeframe.....Detroit, Michigan. Me and two other guard buddies had to go to a training class before deploying for the desert. Last day we were there, we decided to hit up a steak restaurant that some others had recommended. I was NOWHERE near MGTOW or anything remotely resembling Red Pill during that time, but handled the situation with the utmost of DGAF possible.

So we get this skank that called itself a waitress and after 20 minutes to get a drink because she's gallivanting at other tables, playing on her cell phone in the back, and gabbing with her homies, and then another 20 minutes to order because of the same thing, I had had enough. Flagged down a waiter to go get the manager and have him come to the table.

I was in warp mode 3 when the manager got to the table. Surprisingly, I remained calm and conversed with him like a sane, rational person. In any event, it's like hey.....you need to get us another server out here. The one that's been not waiting on us is flapping gums at other tables, playing on the cell phone in the back, and chatting it up with her work cronies. So we either need someone else or we're out of here. Needless to say that guy got a $75 tip, and the meal was comped. Totally did not expect that one, but we should have bought the manager a round of drinks. Oh.....and Skank McSkankington wanted to come back to the table as we're finishing up and start apologizing. I so wanted to tell her what she could go do with herself......but I was still a "nice guy" during that time period.

This is just generally speaking for anyone dining out...

I would say, tip based on the job completed, not just demeanor. A server doesn't owe you a flirtatious or overly friendly demeanor. That being said, they do, more/less owe you a general courteousness and respect. I would say that the absolute minimum, provided the meat of the job was completed, would be 15% (depending where you live, mostly America). If a server fucks up the meat of their job and they aren't being fucked by circumstance (an abnormally busy night or a shitty place of business that gives their servers the shit end of the stick), then judge them accordingly. If a server gives you a cold shoulder or shitty attitude, try to, in an impersonal manner, figure out why and the multitude of "why's", don't always assume it's personal. It's unacceptable, regardless, unless you're being shitty towards them (whether intentionally or unintentionally). If it is, however, personal, if they're being unfairly or unjustly shitty towards you for no reason and, especially if, they're fucking up their actual job, then fuck them, tip whatever you want.
