Just wanted to post something to any of the MGTOW converts like myself, who did go through marriage/LTR to a highly abusive/toxic/manipulative/narcissistic partner. I envy the younger guys who didn’t need to go to the school (of Hard Knocks). This isn’t for you guys but read on for reinforcement.

I post something like this as I know how hard it is initially to reclaim yourself, the core of your being, when you lose it being deep in the throes of the blue pill and psychological abuse.

Difficulty does increase with the length of time you’re with the person, and we may have had a narcissistic parent (I realized after my marriage my mother was malignant, but had cut her off years before), which predisposes people to seek out the same kind of partner. So while AWALT, the degree of dysfunction is likely more severe, and it takes time to get those worms out of your head.

Educate yourself on things like borderline personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, and other cluster B traits. Realize just how deeply the abuser may have had you twisted around (manipulated, triangulated, gaslighted, etc), you’d be surprised.

Take each day slowly. Initially just getting out of bed is a win.

Your personal boundaries may be shit, not just to women, but to manipulative people. Learn about them, and work on them.

I think part of red pill rage is a lot like recovering from narcissistic abuse, and the anger from it. You’ll get angry at yourself as well as a great many things. Whatever you do, don’t blame yourself. Yes, there may be things to work on, but you didn’t deserve to go through it.

Feel what you gotta feel. Let yourself get it out.

Stay single... no pumping and dumping, it’ll set you back and you’ll risk getting sucked back in. Get a Fleshlight.

There is an addiction to the narc/sociopath... the cycle of push/pull and lovebombing makes you hungry for them. Break the connection and go no contact.

Start reclaiming your daily life a piece at a time. Make the bed, clean the place, get some shit together, start small and celebrate the wins.

Don’t drink too much... avoid booze overall if you can.

Understand it’s ok to be alone, go out to eat, movies, etc... read about codependency as it may come in to play.

Exercise, exercise, exercise...

Going MGTOW will help you reclaim your power. Takes recovery to the next step. You’ll be a force to reckon with without all that crap in your head, and with the skills to protect yourself going forward.
