That’s a good start! keep your head down and remember you go to work for a paycheck not to meet pussy, make friends, socialize, etc.

Always play your cards close to your chest about everything. Less is more in what you reveal about yourself, attitudes, etc. Do not talk about money ever. Stay the fuck off social media.

Do what you say and don’t make promises cant keep. ‘I’m doing what’s in the best interests of the company’ is a fall back position you just can’t argue with! It’s saved me and helped me reshape a work debate many many times.

Don’t let your job take advantage of you. If they do and you can’t improve it, leave. NEVER TRUST ANY PROMISES MADE BY A RECURITER. If it’s not in the offer letter...

Don’t make promises you can’t keep. If you can’t keep a promise you made, own it, and discuss it with the person you made it too in advance of surprising them.

NEVER TAKE A JOB SOLELY FOR THE COMPENSATION. What are you getting out of it? Are you learning anything from it or the person you work for?

Pay the fuck attention to who gets promoted and why and to gets fired and why. Trends will help you advance or determine if you even can advance. Any companies who blatantly discriminate against white men are beyond a dead end: you’re likely to be reputation raped and come out worse.

If you do end up on the wrong side of HR, especially if you are innocent, REMEMBER THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIEND. Expect to be treated unfairly. Get a lawyer ASAP.

Do not date someone you work with if you intend to keep your job.

Do not tell secrets or badmouth anyone, because no one can keep a secret. Word goes around fast.

There will be friends who want you to buy stuff for them. Don't train them in that habit. Tell them no. Buying stuff for yourself is fine as it is your money.

Never sign a promissory document or a note that accuses you of wrong doing. It's actually better to lose your job than give someone legal precedence over you.

Don't buy shit that doesn't make you money. Don't panic if the cash just sits there. It's always better than being wasted. Your life will suck until it your investments make enough to do things you like to do.

Nothing lasts. Have an escape plan.

Ignore your parents, tradcucks or anyone that tries to tell you what to spend your money on.
