I haven't yet spotted any counter to this madness found on Reddit. So I will write this response once, and be using it as a go-to everytime I encounter this certain craziness.

It seems that some people believe the word "Female" is derogatory, and this has lead to all kinds of crazy nonsense, so let me clear a few things up.

Firstly forget just biological gender classification for a minute. Most of us (all of us) who weren't born yesterday were just taught a certain vocabulary. (Male,Female) (Man,Woman) (Boy,Girl) (Dude, Chick), (Guy/ Gal).

There's nothing sinister about this, and along with these basic nouns, we learned all the rest too like Car, Dog, House - There's nothing sinister about these either.

This should really be where the discussion ends. A sane and normal person would acknowledge this and move on. But it seems no, unfortunately not everyone is sane and normal or with good intentions.

So it seems that certain people, most likely feminists have taken it upon themselves to take offense at being called female. I didn't find this out yesterday, but it seems that it's becoming more prevalent here on Reddit.

I say Reddit, but we all know Reddit represents a majority of 20 something Americans. Let's be clear, most of the rest of the world, at least outside of very small feminist minorities have this issue on their radar.

I wouldn't give 2 shits, except that it seems feminists are everywhere on Reddit, yeah including moderators. There are also automated scripts to remove posts even containing the word "Female" with justification "gender slur".

So here are my thoughts. Clearly to some, the word Female, got its definition altered to mean "Cunt". No one sent me that memo, and I don't comply with such bullshit anyways.

By dictionary definition: a female person: a woman or a girl.

I'll close with, I find their onslaught extremely aggressive and subtracting often from the main point of Reddit. Discussion about certain topics gets sidetracked or derailed completely.

It's the same thing with Youtube, videos made primarily focusing on Youtube drama instead of actual content.

I'm assuming some of you, have to tolerate this bullshit in real life? How prevalent is this madness in the US? My understanding is it's basically just immature kids propagating this rubbish?
