Just a random thought that came into my head just now: do ‘Berserkers’ still exist in the modern-day era? I’m about to be leaving active military service, but never got a chance to deploy into actual combat (not that I’d regret it) so I wanted to hear people’s thoughts on the matter. We know from media and real-life that adrenaline and rage can bring the body to overcome extreme physical limits, but is it still possible for someone to become a nigh-invincible warrior on the battlefield today through sheer willpower?
I know this isn’t the best place to post this, but I figured that I’d at least be able to get some genuine, thought-out answers from this subreddit.
