YES! A fw years ago i dated a woman who had two dogs that she was far far far too concerned about to the point she couldn't even like go to vegas without worry about what her furbabies were up to, constantly calling to check in with the people looking after them. I ended it with her because she was far to obsessed over her two little dogs.

Yeah a hundred percent. I have this girl at my company that has eight fucking guinea pigs. She just broke up with her boyfriend and got all weepy at work about it. Then the team I'm on goes out for drinks on Friday. I go get my rum and coke on and sit at the end of the table reading a book on my phone and everyone is consoling her. If it was reversed no one would give a shit about the dude. But seriously eight guinea pigs. Why. Just get a cat.
