So today I was working at a busy pub, due to a gay pride event there were hundreds of people, it was very busy. I was working outside on a made up bar.

Selection of drinks are different inside versus outside.

Two girls come up and want lime with their lemonade. I assumed lime courdal as opposed to an actual peice of lime.

They insist they want lime. I politely said we have none outside you can get some from the inside bar. They insist, eye flickering, chest puffing, high pitched "pleaseeeee" all ensue to entice me to go out my way to help them. I say no politely again they then say "a real man would go inside and get me a lime" I responded by saying you had a very very low chance of me getting the lime, and after your comment you now have a positively 0% chance.....

The worst thing? I think they were lesbians. So this shaming tactic must be hard wired into woman from a young age!!

Go your own way. Do not compromise yourself, and do not fall for all of the fake flirting, gentleman/be a man speil.

To leave an outside bar with 1 other staff and a massive queue, to walk through a massive drunk crowd to the inside bar... no chance.
