Watching gladiator post mgtow was different. Maximus shoots down the Queen so many times and my favourite was seeing her what she was by his "talent for survival" statement about her hypergamy. All the men in the Legion and she fancied him.... In the presence of the Stoic Marcus Aurelius, he takes on a great task through rage and daring behaviour to challenge Rome after its transformation and wins the crowd via being a simple incorruptible man that couldn't be defeated and loved by the people. His individualism achieved what the government and emperor couldn't.

He chose not to associate with female in the beginning with his hand heavy with tasks and responsibility, everyone from the Senate, to the emperor to the Queen wanting more from him than they offered even after his service to Marcus. In the face of disrespect and treason he held strong and defeated it.

Not once did the queen offering him anything other than intimacy and he needed none of this. He entire mission was to challenge the emperor and get back to his men and honour.

I feel like this when the world tries to bring me back to their world that I have escaped. It would be dishonourable to return their and lie to myself that it offers any benefit whatsoever.
