Agreed. Never had an Instagram account and will never have one.

Deleted my Facebook back in 2014 and never looked back.

The only social media I use Is reddit, specifically because of this sub

The looks I get when I tell people I have no Instagram, Twitter, Facebook Snapchat, Tik Tok or any social media accounts besides YouTube and Reddit makes it worth it. It's even better when I don't give them those profiles, I've even seen people get offended by it and resort to an almost child-like temper tantrum over it, bringing up all this crap like "what about when you're looking for work and employers want to know about you". Like I'd work for such a nosey gossipy type of person/company, if my experience isn't enough and you need to see what I ate for breakfast and did for my winter vacation to hire me then it's just not a good fit.

It does diagust me at times though that people are so arrogant and conceited that they can't even fathom not having any self-esteem or worth without internet updoots and their addiction to attention and external validation.

That just shows you lack self control.

I use all social media but never post in them, I use them to stay in touch with friends because people change numbers all the time and who uses email anymore.

But I don't get jealous of people posting because idc.
