They straight up say: "Marriage is hardwork". Wtf more do you need??? There are subreddits dedicated to cheating, deadbedrooms, how to maximize your sex value, how to make money selling sex... It's just insane to assume that we are at all monogamous.

Grannys were not lolay either, they had to stop doing bloodtests back in the day because there were so many women who bore the postman/milkman/priests kid..

Somehow this idealized reality of love and working together exists when it's all just pillars of nothing.

My dad’s parents were mArried for 40 years and then got a divorce after yelling at each other since they were 19 and 20 years old. My mom’s parents were never married. Her dad died when she was 13 and my grandma had 7 kids with 5 different dudes but proclaims she is a God fearing Christian and calls everyone a slut. Our grandparents didn’t hold the key to romance, they just didn’t have as much technology to get caught or branch out. Mind you I still believe in true love, I just don’t look to my grandparents’ gen. As an example.
