Hey guys. Late 20s man going his own way here. During my development and growth as a boy to a man, which has predominantly taken place during the 21st century, I noticed that the biggest hurdle to clear on the path to freeing my mind was embracing truths no matter how contrarian. I think this is where most people "tap out" as they ask questions about the world around them. In fact, for most, I think "truth = consensus," especially for women. We definitely see that now with the mask stuff. People will stoop to new lows of nonsense just to feel part of the collective.

It was a painful process for me, as I battled with myself all throughout the years, wondering, "How could most of society just be so 'wrong' about such fundamental topics pertaining to male-female relations, the role of women in society, etc.? How could that be, yet the earth is still turning" to the point where I simply would not allow myself to accept the bleak truth. I figured there was no way my observations could be right, and that surely it was just my anxiety misinforming me. Do you know how much it sucks to live life thinking that you have a disordered anxiety that causes you to come to false conclusions?

Eventually, it got to a point where I simply could not deny the truth any longer, even if that meant concluding that my fellow men and women had it all wrong, which felt like a wholesale condemnation of humanity. But the truth is the truth. It has been a crazy journey, and now I just have to figure out where does my life go from here, now that I know what I know (my entire life previously I had been basing my decision-making on positioning myself for the marriage and family route).
