First of all, only men are expected to do it - why should he have to buy her a ring if they're already getting married? (you already know whats gonna happen in a few years)

The action itself is pretty sad, like what is up with getting on your knees in front of a woman? That radiaties simp...

The only reason women have power or why this happens at all, is because they produce children.

There are countless articles online about millennials not buying engagement rings. I think people are starting to wake up?

I also saw a story on tiktok about how a lady and her fiance were buying a $35,000 engagement ring (wtf right?) but he bought it for her anyways, and a few days later, the fiance went back to the same store asking for the diamond to be replaced by cubic zirconium (cheap alternative) because she was going to break up with her fiance, return the fake ring to him, and keep the diamond for herslef.

Thankfully, the store owner informed the guy of what was going on, but imagine if she didn't. I was initially surprised the dude's fiance planned out that much ahead, but the more I learn about these chameleons, the less surprised I get.

(I'll try finding that tiktok again so you guys could see it too)
