USA style Kangaroo court University expulsions coming to the UK. I have no doubts the feminist Labour party wants to introduce these to the UK. Campaigners urge colleges to release figures amid fears the number of reported assaults could be much higher.

Thousands of dads are left in shock as DIY paternity tests soar. Up to 30,000 tests are being performed every year, says Alphabiolabs. In the UK about 750,000 babies are born every year. Feminists want the test to be illegal without the written consent of the mother.

Mother-of-two, 40, falsely branded a neighbour a sex offender because he 'made too much noise building a guinea pig hutch in his garden'. It seems for many women if they do not get their way they make a false sex allegation knowing a man is not protected by the law.

Archived version.

You're welcome.

Just to put it in perspective there are about 2.5 million students registered to study full time at UK Universities: 2016/2017.

Yep, whenever you encounter these kind of statistics being thrown around you can just do the most basic maths ever and find out that these activist groups as ever are completely full of shit.

[–]EricAllonde 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Using that figure and the article, I calculate the incidence of rape among full time university students at about 9.2 / 100,000 per year.

For comparison, the murder rate in the UK is 0.9 / 100,000 and in the USA it is 3.9 / 100,000.

So the rate at which students are raped in the UK is about 10 times higher than the murder rate in the UK, or about 2.4 times higher than the murder rate in the USA.

So it's hardly an epidemic (no surprise), and certainly nothing like the ridiculous 1-in-5 figure that feminist loons throw around, since that figure works out to 20,000 / 100,000.

For those following along at home, in order to produce a comparable number for murder, you do the following:

  • reason that, since someone getting punched could result in them falling badly, hitting their head/neck at the wrong angle, and dying, any kind of assault counts as attempted murder.
  • acknowledge that many people won't use the phrase 'attempted murder' to describe their experiences, and might not report it to the police, so a survey of individual experiences needs to be conducted. Being shoved, punched, or even verbally abused (since it could result in suicide) is counted among the statistics for attempted murder.
  • reason that an attempt on your life occurring just one time throughout your life is extremely important, since it only takes one time being murdered to end your life. Therefore, we need to highlight the lifetime incidence rate, rather than the per capita yearly rate.

Take all of these steps, and you will surely find that at least 1 in 5 people have suffered from attempted murder.

I add in that doesn't account for any false accusations.

Be careful though, that figure is for "sex attacks" which includes more non-rape than rape.

[–]Crimsonak- 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Perhaps some more important perspective, is:

Shocking new figures reveal that at least 463 sex attacks were reported by female university students during the past two years – equating to one suspected victim a day during term time.

The bottom line here is, anyone can make a claim and the only thing that should be done about any claim(s) is proper and objective criminal investigation. Until such an investigation makes a conclusion, any data you can measure before hand is utterly useless.

To say there's 400 suspected victims is no different to saying there's 400 million suspected victims in that the number of actual victims in either claim is conceivably exactly the same.

Judging by what's been hitting our mainstream media, I think the same is true for Australia.

I've already experienced it myself here but there seems to be a strong push for that to become an openly accepted norm as opposed to something illegal but swept under the carpet.

Wait, so what about <250 alleged campus rapes a year is a rape epidemic? Do Feminists not understand how numbers work? This means that campus rape is ridiculously uncommon: MAGNITUDES less common than they want us to believe it is.
