Gillette introduced their extremely controversial ad about toxic masculinity, and Egard watches responded with a message bringing attention to the many issues men face.
Egard watches sold out and there was a long waiting list for their watches.
From a business standpoint, why are businesses not racing to follow the example?
Isn't money the main motivating factor, instead of political activism?
I always thought most companies that release controversial and opinionated ads don't really care, they're just pandering to a demographic.
So if companies are primarily focused on money, why are they not clamoring to spread the same message Egard watches did?
